On Tuesday, Feb. 2, 110 students spanning grades 9-12 from both New London High School and Science and Technology Magnet High School participated in the American Mathematics Competition. This competition is the longest running math competition in the country, encompassing thousands of schools and approximately 350,000 students. The goal of the competition is to “spur interest in mathematics and develop talent though the excitement of solving challenging problems.”

Results will be forthcoming, however, a congratulations to all the students of NLHS and STMHS for representing our schools academically!
